2023

Como, Italy

10 – 15 September 2023

Como, Italy

Dear colleagues,

it is our great pleasure to announce the 14th International Conference Conference on Optical Probes of Organic and Hybrid Semiconductors (OP2023).

OP brings together scientists from around the world interested in the field of photophysics of organic and hybrid materials. The primary goal of OP2023 is to present state-of-the-art research, recent achievements and global trends in our understanding of excited state phenomena and photophysical processes, the development of novel spectroscopic techniques, and their applications, mostly to optoelectronic devices, photonics and biology. Special emphasis is placed on generality of the phenomena, rather than the specifics of the system or optical measurements.

Previous conferences took place at Snowbird (1992), Salt Lake City (1994), San-Diego (1997), Salt Lake City (2000), Venice (2003), Bangalore (2005), Turku (2007), Beijing (2009), Santa Fe (2011), Durham (2013), Hong Kong (2015), Québec (2017) and Vilnius (2019).

OP2023 will mostly focus on the following topics:

  • Optical spectroscopy and excited state phenomena in organic and hybrid semiconductors
  • π-conjugated polymers, molecules and related optoelectronic devices
  • Perovskite materials and related optoelectronic devices
  • Strong light-matter interaction
  • Quantum confined nanostructures
  • Optical materials for biological applications

We hope to see you in Lake Como!
